hand picked lake and river wild rice
Tastes like it should and I've been eating hand picked river /lake wild rice for 60 years. I soak the rice in cold water for a minimum of 12 hours, changing the water several times, prior to cooking.
It's great for adding to various soups etc - but I really like cooked wild rice with cream/half & half and sugar - try it sometime. -
Excellent flavor
We were very pleased with the rice texture and flavor. It simmered about 45 minutes til it was done. We would recommend this product.

Wild rice
I have lived in north Minnesota and harvested rice which was sold to a proseser, then looked for it in big box stores.
All I could find was black rice.
Perhaps the proseser sold the 1000lbs of rice in new York I thought!
