Hand Picked Parched Wild Rice

Lake & River Wild Rice
As advertised and pictured on the Moose Lake Wild Rice Co. website. Day after delivery day delight as our families favorite wild rice soup was on the menu. Very impressive short lead time from order to delivery via USPS (5 day total). I usually travel annually to MN from AK for family visits that included resupplying with a years supply of wild rice upon return. COVID-19 had limited this personal travel option. Moose Lake Wild Rice Co has filled that void and will be my wild rice source with its excellent online e-commerce option.

This is wonderful wild rice. I left Minnesota many years ago, so I’m grateful to be able to order rice. This rice takes me back to my childhood. Lovely long grains, very clean, and cooks up beautifully.

Excellent Wild Rice
I moved to the West Coast from Minnesota 20 years ago and this reminds me of home! I've been buying this wild rice for at least 3 years now. The flavor and quality is far superior to anything I've found and is the same rice I used to get from friends up north who harvested themselves. Hand Parched Wild rice
If you have never used hand parched wild rice before you do not know what you are missing. Once you try it you will never willingly go back to regular wild rice. Granted it is a little harder to find, and a little more expensive to buy but it is worth every cent. My sister, who lives in northern Minnesota got me hooked on it years ago and I have been using it ever since. It cooks up so much quicker that it is a breeze to use in any recipe. It has a flavor all it's own as well. I cannot find it in any local stores around me so I order it online from a reputable Minnesota supplier like Lake and River Wild Rice. And if you want an awesome recipe to try it out on look up "Wild Rice Baron"....delicious!
