My first true wild rice and I love it
I'd given up on white rice and white bread for many years in an effort to watch what I eat, whole grain is better. But missing rice as a side dish I looked for wild rice at my grocery store and that was pretty good, and so I researched online for something better and found Moose Lake Wild Rice and I love it. I had no idea how wild rice like this was harvested and I'm sticking with it. I'm happy to have rice, true wild rice, back on my plate.

I grew up in northern MN and wild rice was a staple at our house. My mom was very particular that it be hand picked wood parched so I was excited to find Moose Lake Wild Rice. It's of great quality and gives me an opportunity to make delicious dishes from my mom's recipes.
