It’s a good rice, packed as you see in the picture, I been buying my rice here for quite awhile, and I wouldn’t come back if it was not good. Last year I sent a gift package and they put a note in the box that is was from me. They very helpful !

This is comparable to the hand picked rice and just as good. I have recommended both to family and friends.

    Lite wild rice

Tried a new approach by adding diced onion, celery, and mushrooms to the water along with 1T butter. Simmered first 45 minutes. Usually cook the rice , sauté the vegetables in butter and add the cooked rice. First time with the light rice. It was a winner but the flavor was less intense than the dark rice.
