Don't Waste the Drippings Wild Rice
Posted by Moose Lake Wild rice on Apr 6th 2021
A creative use for wild rice using pan drippings from your main meat course with dinner. Comes together easily while the meat is resting after cooking.
Cook 1/2 cup dry Moose Lake Lake & River Wild Rice in 8 ounces of desired broth.
Simmer until all liquid has absorbed. When you make your main meat course, be sure to save the drippings. Add chopped peppers, onions, and mushrooms, and sauté in meat drippings. Stir in the cooked wild rice to the sauté and serve. Easy and tastes great. Especially tasty when making wild game or pheasant. |
