Wild rice seasoning and review of light wild rice

Posted by Richard Nanes on Oct 19th 2023

I find if the wild rice is boiled in chicken broth it tastes better. In addition, I add chicken gravy to the finished rice and then season with the wild rice seasoning to taste and I now have a great side dish.

This is a wonderful product. I use it for the rice, but also soups and sauces.

    Wild Rice Seasoning

Posted by Gerianne Imdieke on Oct 6th 2022

The cayenne is way too overpowering. I made the mistake of putting it in wild rice soup. It didn't go well with it. Adding more cream to the soup helped tone it down.

First time trying. Its good but being on low sodium diet it’s on the salty side.
